- Q. What is required
of a student prior to registration with GC&SU?
- A. All students must either
be currently enrolled or fully admitted to GC&SU
for the specific term of registration in order to be eligible to reserve
their classes.
- Q. What are the
requirements for transient students?
- A. Please be advised
that transient status is for one specific term only. Students who wish to
continue enrollment with GC&SU after
one term of transient status must apply for and be admitted as a transfer
student by the stated deadline.
- Q. What is required
of a former student in order for him/her to reserve classes?
- A1. Former students who
are not currently enrolled and wish to take advantage of regular
registration (as opposed to new student registration immediately prior to
a semester or late registration) must give the Admissions Office
sufficient notice of their intentions to be readmitted for the upcoming
term. Files must be complete at least 2 weeks prior to regular
registration. Students who attend new student registration or late
registration must meet the stated application deadlines.
- A2. A student who is not
currently enrolled but who has been enrolled in GC&SU
within the past year is eligible
to reactivate their status by calling the Admissions Office at
478-445-2774 or 1-800-342-0471. Graduate students should call the Graduate
Admissions Office at 478-445-6289 or 1-800-342-0471. If the student has
attended another college since they were last enrolled at GC&SU they
must meet current transfer student requirements.
- A3. If a student has not
been enrolled with GC&SU within
the past year, a new application must be submitted. If the student has

- Q. What factors
qualify new GC&SU
students for class reservation?
- A. New students must be
fully admitted by the stated deadline in order to be eligible to attend
new student orientation and to reserve classes.
- Q. What are the undergraduate application deadlines?
- A. Fall - July 1 Spring--November
1 Maymester - April 1 Summer--May
1
