Assessment at GCSU
GCSU’s goal of continually improving its academic programs is facilitated by a systematic, multi-pronged assessment program. The Division of Academic Affairs is committed to the belief that the quality of degree programs and academic support services improves as faculty and staff evaluate performance-based student learning outcomes and respond to that analysis of data.
Click on the links to the left to access GCSU assessment materials. The process used for the Assessment Planning Record has undergone several transitions since 2001. The APR was first developed in Microsoft Word format, then converted to an online system and piloted in 2005, and then revised again in 2008. Our Index to GCSU Assessment Reports provides an overview of the location of various APRs since 2001 and direct access to Comprehensive Program Review reports available electronically.
