Middle Level Summit
October 8th, 2010
The Georgia College & State University Collegiate Middle Level Association and the John H. Lounsbury College of Education will host the Sixth Annual Summit on Middle Level Education on October 8th, 2010. Our theme this year is Premiering the 21st Century Curriculum. With its focus on looking ahead in the educational programs for the middle grades, the summit provides middle grades educators, in-service as well as pre-service, a wonderful opportunity to engage in a meaningful one-day professional development experience at a most reasonable cost! Highlighting the program will be two outstanding middle level leaders: Dr. Tom Erb, long time editor of the Middle School Journal and a noted expert on curriculum; and Dr. Nancy Doda, popular and passionate advocate for young adolescents. The program will include theme-related, break-out sessions put on by successful practitioners and it will include various opportunities for educators and teachers to meet in small groups. For additional information please see the 2010 Summit Letter, Registration Form, and Tentative Program that are linked below.
