Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum opened in 2004.  It boasts one of the largest fossil vertebrate collection in the Southeast.  The museum opened after more than 20 years of collection fossils in local, national, and international soils.

The museum has many Ice Age fossils including a complete bison skull which was unearthed in Brunswick, GA.  There are marine fossils from Wilkinson County.  Other fossils come from North and South America.
