Georgia College observes Alcohol Awareness Week with a host of activities:

• Monday, Oct. 5:
“Dizzy Driver” – Learn about impairment while testing your driving skills with golf carts and impairment goggles. 1 to 4 p.m. front campus

• Tuesday, Oct. 6:

But on his 21st Birthday he decided to get into vehicle with a driver who had been drinking instead of getting in a cab to go home. The driver lost control and hit a tree. This collision changed Krug’s life forever. He is disabled, talks through a computer and can only walk a short distance. He has minimum use of his hands, and he uses a wheelchair the majority of the time. Krug travels to high schools and universities across Georgia to share his story in hopes of preventing other students from making the same mistake.
